Kate is an award winning freelance photographer from Bangalow, Australia. With a successful career spanning dance and the performing arts, returning to the Northern Rivers in 2006 offered her the opportunity to foster and refine her life long love of photography.
Having now run her business for more than a decade, with work published internationally and several exhibitions up her sleeve, Kate specialises in a diverse range of photographic genres, ranging from stills for film, documentary, dance and theatre, portraiture, food, fashion and editorial photography as well as architecture, interiors and weddings.
Kate's work can be seen in 'Our Way Stories', a book published by Arts Northern Rivers in 2016.
Her second book, 'Bulaan Buruugaa Ngali', We Weave Together, offers a captivating exploration of the Bundjalung weavers' traditions within the Northern Rivers of NSW, beautifully presented through a rich visual display.
Kate was a finalist in the 2022 Wollumbin Art Award exhibited at Tweed Regional Gallery.
